Introduction to the artistic printing techniques I and II

Introduction to artistic printing techniques consists of two high-quality boxes containing original prints and explanatory texts. Together they provide a descriptive basis for studying the subject and identifying the most important printmaking techniques. The artist, Marcel Gähler, created this collection of original prints using the same subject of a dog lying down to illustrate 19 different techniques. The graphic arts specialist, Hildegard Homburger, contributes a written commentary on the prints, explaining the characteristics and distinguishing features of the different processes involved. The explanatory texts are avaliable in english, (PDF EN), german (PDF DE) and french (PDF FR).

Subscription offer for the english and french edition valid until 31. August 2025

Subscribers can obtain both boxes for a reduced price of CHF 7,200 until 31. August 2025, after this date for CHF 8,000. The edition is limited to 21 copies.

On request we would be pleased to present the original boxes either at a venue of your choice or at our premises in Kerzers, Switzerland, or in Berlin. Please contact us at:
